My name is Magda and I am the creator of the Lennea brand.
I value a life in harmony with nature, without hurry and excessive stimuli. I advocate surrounding myself with natural materials that are friendly to our skin and the environment, as well as high-quality products that are timeless and last for years, even generations.
To make our clothes last longer, we need to take proper care of them and protect them. Aprons are perfect for this. My goal is for aprons used in daily work or extra activities to be as original, extremely comfortable, and practical, as well as skin-friendly as our clothes. Using the noble material that linen is, makes the apron an elegant element of the outfit or everyday style.
I use high-quality Polish linen and cotton, as well as wooden buttons, to make them. The entire production takes place in Poland in the most sustainable way possible, and some products are available on order according to the slow fashion principle.
The inspiration for starting my company were and still are my children. The first apron was created for my daughter Florka, who could not tolerate any bibs. That’s when I remembered my preschool apron, which was buttoned at the back and had pockets in front. However, in my childhood, aprons were made of artificial polyester material, which is not skin-friendly. Thus, my first model of the linen apron "Kerstin" was born.
Furthermore, I am a lover of Scandinavian children's literature. To this day, I love reading books by Astrid Lindgren, full of warmth, tranquility, living in harmony with nature, and natural childhood. It was the children from Bullerbyn or Madik who wore aprons protecting their clothes from getting dirty. And thus, the idea for linen aprons was born.
